FlexED

Flexible Education

FlexED is a specialist program that is a pathway mixed with both General and Certificate courses. The focus is on developing practical skills while providing stepping stones for further Tertiary studies. The course is designed for active learners who prefer hands-on relevant learning. Where possible, students get a chance to put into practice things they are taught in class. Work experience, visits to a range of facilities and a progressive approach to learning make this an ideal pathway for a student trying to find their niche in life.

TIDE

Technology Industry Design & Enterprise

This is a dynamic and engaging course where students are introduced to a range of materials and manufacturing processes. Students have the opportunity to create a variety of 3 dimensional objects focusing on design and construction techniques. Students are taught to work safely and sustainably in a workshop environment.

 

TIDE covers a range of creative opportunities including:

  •  Engineering, principles and Systems
  • Jewellery
  • Glass-working
  • Woodwork and Three Dimensional Design
  • Photography
